Airlift to Barbados has increased and some hotels are reporting occupancy levels of up to 85%, signaling a comeback for the local tourism industry.
While the cruise sector has not returned to previous levels as yet, Tourism Minister Senator Lisa Cummins believes it will pick up later in the year.
