The Congress of Trade Unions and Staff Associations of Barbados has lodged a complaint against the Government of Barbados at the International Labour Organisation.
CTUSAB contends that as the national trade union centre and a member of the social partnership, it should be invited to nominate a workers’ delegate and/or advisor, to attend the annual labour conference in Geneva.
However, CTUSAB General Secretary, Dennis De Peiza says the Congress has not received an invitation to attend the conference since 2017.
