One regional agency has donated much needed equipment to help members of the deaf community be in a better earning position.
The Caribbean Policy Development Centre (CPDC) has gifted the Deaf Heart Project computers, which are being used to teach entrepreneurial skills to the deaf.
CDPC believes the European Union funded project will allow them to have more sustainable livelihoods.
Geneva Ollivierre, Project Development Specialist says CDPC is looking to do more.
Meanwhile, Maude White, a participant, who has been attending the deaf entrepreneurship sessions at the Young Men’s Christian Association at Pinfold Street, Bridgetown says she has been learning a lot.
