
An 85 year old woman is the island’s 71st COVID-19 death.
She was in secondary isolation at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility for 10 days, had comorbidities and was unvaccinated.
Earlier today, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kenneth George had announced the country’s 70th death – a 52 year old man who passed away in the primary isolation section where he was a patient at the institution for three days.
He had no chronic illnesses and was unvaccinated.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, extends condolences to the bereaved.
