A live stock feed increase could be the death knell for the farming industry in Barbados.
One local farmer, Jean Marc Cozier of Market Hill Farms Limited says this new increase will close their doors.
Animal feed went up by nearly seven dollars yesterday.
President of the Barbados Dairy and Beef Farmers Association Annette Beckett says they will be meeting to discuss the situation.
