There’s a strong likelihood the price of animal feed will be going up from as early as Monday and with it the cost of meat and other animal products.
Word of this from Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Agricultural Society, James Paul.
According to Mr. Paul, Pinnacle Feeds has forwarded correspondence indicating it will have to raise the price of feed, because of the increasing cost of inputs.
He says negotiations are ongoing on the issue.
