A Flash Flood Warning remains in effect for Barbados, while the Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been discontinued.
In its latest update, the Barbados Meteorological Services noted that heavy to violent showers this afternoon resulted in 4 to 6 inches of rainfall accumulation across some sections of the island, and an additional 1 to 2 inches is likely during the early night.
As a result, the Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until midnight.
However, the alert will be terminated sooner if conditions warrant.
