Former LIAT staffers are planning a peaceful protest for next week.
Well-placed sources told the Morning Report permission is being sought for the protest to take place in the area of the Grantley Adams International Airport.
A letter was sent to the Commissioner of Police Richard Boyce, but a call to him revealed he has not yet received it – however it is stamped by his registry.
The letter, which is signed by LIALPA President Patterson Thompson, is proposing three days of peaceful demonstration from the 14th through 16th of January to bring their near two year old plight to the public’s attention.
They want to picket at the roundabouts by the Airport.
