Greater emphasis will be placed on improving the quality of locally produced goods and services in the upcoming financial year, in a bid to break into new international markets.
The disclosure from the Minister of State, Foreign Trade and Business, Sandra Husbands.
According to Minister Husbands, it is critical as economic growth depends on the country’s ability to inculcate quality standards in everything done in Barbados.
She made the comments as discussion on the Estimates continued in Parliament under the Ministry of Energy and Business Development head for a total of 45.9 million dollars.
