Group calls for elements of God to remain

Some Barbadians have participated in a panel discussion and press conference to voice their concerns about the journey to Republic status.

It was held under the theme ‘Why We Need God Under a Republic’.

Topics included the uncertainty about the changes that will stem from the switch, suggestions to remove God from law books, and end school prayers.

One panelist, Paul ‘Ras Simba’ Rock says the concept of God should be retained.

Sean Carter of the Spiritually Aware Group warned of the consequences of removing God.
