Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Works and Water Resources, Santia Bradshaw has addressed concerns of some members of the public regarding the resurfacing of the Errol Barrow section of the ABC Highway.
She says, while road users may be unaware of underlying factors impacting the quality of the island’s highways, based on assessments, engineers may pinpoint specific areas in need of repair.
She adds that the roadworks fall under an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) project, which started before the current Government came to office and has been impacted by several delays.
Ms. Bradshaw has asked the Ministry of Transport’s public relations team to engage the public to shed some light on these and other concerns.
