Barbadians are being urged to brace for increasing temperatures as September approaches.
This is one of the predictions contained in the Barbados Met Services’ Monthly Climate Outlook Newsletter.
According to the report, maximum temperatures are predicted to range from around 31 to 33 degrees Celsius in the western and south-western sections of the island.
Central parts of the island can also expect a gradual increase in maximum temperatures ranging from 28 to 30 degrees Celsius.
A gradual decrease in temperature is expected from October into December as we enter the “cooler” part of the year.
Meteorologist, Tia Browne, has highlighted some of the other key points of the report.
