Include marginalised groups in development

A case is being made for marginalised groups like the disabled to be given a bigger stake in the country’s development.

One area that needs to be addressed according to Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs Kirk Humphrey is employment.

He made the point at the opening ceremony of the Livity Project Policy Forum on Inclusive Approaches to Justice at the Barbados Hilton.

European Union (EU) Ambassador to Barbados Malgorzata Wasilewska says access to justice is a basic human right and particularly important for people in communities who are mistreated and regularly discriminated against.
