Minister of Agriculture, Food and Nutritional Security, Indar Weir is reporting an increase in production of a number of crops.
Providing an update in the Lower House during discussion on the Agriculture Head he noted this growth has not been seen for some time.
The Ministry of Agriculture is being provided with over $81,210,000.
Despite recent impacts, Mr. Weir says efforts to reduce the island’s food import bill continue. He says the target is achievable and can be surpassed.
