Interest in growing Barbados brand in global regulatory tech

Government is interested in growing the Barbados brand and business profile in global regulatory technology.

Minister of Energy and Business Development Senator Lisa Cummins made the disclosure, as she addressed the Barbados International Business Association’s reception at Hilton Barbados.

She told the audience it is a new space of commercial diplomacy for the global business sector.

The Minister called for a combined approach from stakeholders for Barbados to reach its competitive offensive position by the middle of this year.

She said aggressive targets have been set.
