The stage is set for the 2022 Scotiabank Junior Calypso Monarch Finals.
The seventeen finalists in the soca and calypso competition drew for positions at the Scotiabank Broad Street branch yesterday.
The draw was facilitated by Cultural Officer at the National Cultural Foundation, Kevin Moore.
In alphabetical order, each finalist pulled a number which determined the order of performance for the July 16th final, which will be held in the Frank Collymore Hall.
While delivering welcoming remarks before the draw, Branch Manager of Scotiabank Broad Street, Rico Layne, reiterated that the Bank is proud of over 20 years of partnership with the NCF.
He said the programme continues to positively influence Barbadian youth.
The Junior Monarch Finals will begin on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. in the Frank Collymore Hall.
