With the Barmy Army bringing a larger contingent to Bim for the England series it’s expected that this will redound to a larger spend given the hotel bookings, transportation and dining.
The contingent is greater than is customary for a T20 series and Commercial Director of the Barmy Army Adam Canning told CBC News they are thrilled to be here.
He says the desire to see a live match has brought a large contingent.
Some of the Barmy Army members were at Copa Cabana this afternoon where they were treated to a cultural presentation and dj music.
It’s expected that after tonight’s game win or lose they will be here as well enjoying a good local beverage and good Bajan hospitality.
