A limited amount of COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccines are now available in Barbados.
The Ministry of Health and Wellness says with the receipt of the vaccines, individuals who require a second dose or a first or second booster with AstraZeneca may check the vaccination schedule and go to their respective polyclinic or vaccination centre as soon as possible.
The public is also reminded that vaccination sites do not operate on Saturdays.
In addition, the Ministry advises that COVID-19 vaccines for children five to 12 years old will soon be available, and it will inform the public as to when they will be accessible.
