Chairman of the Barbados Private Sector Association (BPSA) Trisha Tannis says members of the local private sector will be closely monitoring the situation in Ukraine for any potential impact on businesses and the wider local economy.
She says while they remain hopeful calmer heads will prevail, she believes some of the solutions already discussed by Government and the private sector to mitigate supply chain and food security issues due to COVID, may also now be similarly useful to help with any negative fallout from the Ukraine invasion.
