Major support for Bridgetown Agenda

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has received a major endorsement for the Bridgetown Agenda she is promoting, which is aimed at overhauling the global financial system and unleashing much needed funds to the climate frontlines.

United Nations Chief, Antonio Guterres, has signalled his support for the initiative.

He has called on Washington to get behind the idea now.

Prime Minister Mottley is working to deliver a new global finance compact for vulnerable countries.

She shed further insight into the Bridgetown Agenda as she delivered the first Kofi Annan Lecture Series.
