Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Tourism Marketing Incorporated, Jens Thraenhart wants Barbados to boost its tourism product offering by making it more authentic.
He says the post-pandemic traveller is looking for more meaningful travel and wants the island to use the non-traditional aspects of tourism.
Mr. Thraenhart comments came in the Lower House where Debate continued on the Appropriation Bill, 2023
Meanwhile, Chair of the BTMI, Shelly Williams says there’s growing interest in Barbados as a sustainable tourism destination.
