A 34-year-old resident of Haynesville, St. James is nursing injuries after a shooting incident at that housing area.
The Barbados Police Service responded to the reported shooting around 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
An anonymous caller to the Holetown Police Station stated that a man had received a gunshot injury while in the area of the Bailey canteen. The caller further stated that a car drove into the area before multiple gunshots were heard and one man received injuries to his upper torso. He was transported by private motor car for medical attention.
That man is reported to be at the Operating Theater at the hospital in stable condition.
