Man seeking missing mother

A man has turned to the police to help find his missing 82-year-old mother.

Elvis Husbands of Middleton St George reported that his mother, Elmonda Theodore Husbands, of the same address, has not been seen since 12:45 p.m. on Monday, January 2, 2023.

The Barbados Police Service provided this photo of Elmonda Theodore Husbands.

Police provided the following description of Elmonda Theodore Husbands, who they noted is born on September 15, 1940:

She is of brown complexion, 5ft 5”, slim built, walks with a limp. She is jovial and has a pleasant manner. She is a diabetic and suffers from dementia or Alzheimer’s disease which is in its early stages. She left home clad in a blue long skirt, a blue and white long-sleeved top and wearing a grey hat. She frequents St. Judes, Newbury, and the Glebe Post Office.

Anyone who may have seen Elmonda Husbands is asked to contact the Boarded Hall station at 437 4311, Oistins Station at 418 2612 or Police Emergency at 211.
