A manhunt is underway for a prisoner who escaped from Police custody while at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Police PRO Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss says the incident was reported around 11:11 this morning.
The prisoner is 37 year old Roger Rommel Sealy alias “Duck foot”, whose last known addresses are Scotts Gap, Brittons Hill, Martin’s Road, The Pine and Watermill Place, Bayville, all in St. Michael.
He is currently on remand having been charged with the offence of Aggravated Burglary.
Police say he was attending the Physiotherapy Department at the QEH in the custody of a prison officer, when he managed to escape.
Sealy ran off and jumped the fence of the western carpark. He was last seen in the area of Purity Bakeries near Dunlow Lane, The City.
Police and personnel from Dodds Prison are currently involved in the search.
