Ahead of a move to relocate public sector vehicles to the Speightstown Bus Terminal, there is news of more plans to regulate the owners and operators.
The issue was raised in the Lower House today as the debate on the Appropriation Bill 2022 continues.
Clamping down on the bad behaviour of PSV operators and their owners is high on the Ministry of Transport’s agenda.
Deputy Prime Minister, Santia Bradshaw, says immediately after the Estimates, the Ministry will be bringing regulations to Parliament to give the Transport Authority more teeth.
Minister Bradshaw says officials have been in discussions with the Barbados Community College regarding that training.
