Men charged for burglaries at Courts, Supermarket

Police in the Southern Division have arrested and charged two men for a burglary which occurred at Emerald City Supermarket.

They are 40-year-old Romell Sobers, of Eastbourne, St Philip and 33-year-old Dario Jones, of Lynches, St Philip.

The two men are charged for a burglary which occurred at Emerald City Supermarket between October 19 and 20, 2021.

Police added that, “Romell Sobers was separately charged for a burglary which occurred at Courts between August 24 and 25, 2020”.

Both accused are expected to appear at the District C Magistrates Court St Matthias today.

The Royal Barbados Police Force thanked members of the media and general public for their quick response in respect to the sharing of the video of events at the Emerald City Supermarket.
