Debate on the Charter of Barbados switched from the Lower House to the Senate yesterday, where Tourism Minister, Senator Lisa Cummins, hit back at critics of the Charter.
She stressed it is not a legal document nor will it form any part of the new Constitution.
Senator Cummins also queried why the critics did not fully participate in the numerous public consultations that reached thousands.
Senator Cummins also addressed the ongoing public debate about the inclusion of the word ‘Creator’.
