Mission to transform Barbados 

Thousands turned out at the National Botanical Gardens to participate in the celebrations for workers and to witness a historic signing of what is being termed  a statement of trust in the people of Barbados 

It was signed by Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, trade unions and the private sector.

The Prime Minister told the gathering at the 85th-anniversary celebrations of the Barbados Workers Union, it is a seven-year exercise against the challenges that the island faces.
