CBC News has uncovered mixed views on yesterday’s announcement by the country’s Chief Medical Officer officer.

President of the Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners, Dr. Lynda Williams, says she is sticking by their statement issued two weeks ago.

She stresses that it remains BAMP’s official position that many people will now be even more vulnerable.

Meanwhile, the executive director of the Barbados Employers Confederation, Sheena Mayers-Granville, welcomes the development and looks forward to the growth of the economy.
