Major trade and business opportunities are opening up for Barbados in Atlanta.
This is as Barbadians in the diaspora converged on the US city for ‘Barbados Comes To Atlanta’, an outreach programme hosted by the Barbados Consulate in Miami.
The event which ends tomorrow, has welcomed over two thousand people, and the Consul General in Miami, Rudi Grant, says there is great potential to boost tourism and business between Atlanta, Georgia and Barbados.
Also a part of the mission is Barbados’ Ambassador to the US and the Organisation of American States, Noel Lynch.
He is convinced Barbados must tap into the growing diaspora to enhance development at home.
