Music producer Bourne passes

The local calypso fraternity is in mourning after the passing of arranger and producer Richard Bourne of Air Bourne Studios.

Bourne, who produced work for many calypsonians like John King, Serenader and perennial Pic-o-De-Crop finalist Colin Spencer, passed away on Thursday after a brief illness.

Spencer said the news shocked him and described Bourne’s death as a tremendous loss.
