The worms recently spotted along a south coast beach embedded in the mats of sargassum seaweed have been identified.
They are sipunculids.
And as he appeared on CBC’s Morning Report, University of the West Indies (UWI) Cave Hill Campus scientist, Dr. Darren Browne, explained what has led to the sightings. He also revealed that the worms are not harmful.
