December 18th, 2021

A new COVID-19 Curfew Directive is now in effect, to reflect the lifting of the ban on entertainment from this weekend.

For an individual to host an event, at which members of the public may be entertained for payment of money directly or indirectly, the venue and maximum number of patrons in attendance must be approved by the COVID-19 Unit and the National Cultural Foundation.

All service providers, staff and performers must produce evidence they are fully vaccinated and have a negative Rapid Antigen test done no more than 24 hours before entering the event venue.

Patrons must be fully vaccinated or have a negative rapid test.

If the event is indoors, the directive stipulates it must not exceed 3 hours.

In addition, there shall be no curfew during the following periods:

  • from midnight on December 24th, 2021 to 5:00 a.m. on December 25th, 2021; and
  • from midnight on December 31st, 2021 to 2:00 a.m. on January 1st, 2022.

The Directive expires on Thursday, January 6th, 2022.
