A new road safety initiative is underway in Barbados.
Called ‘We the Cyclist’, it is a five minute video programme co-produced by riders Dr. Derek Thorpe and veteran Midas Magic rider and bike repair specialist, Michael Thorpe.
The co-producer told CBC News the video is to sensitise the public about the plight, not only of cyclists, but of all road users.
Meanwhile, Michael Thorpe says respect and patience are lacking on the roads of Barbados.
