The public is being advised that a message circulating on social media stating that the Ministry of Health and Wellness is suspending first doses of the Pfizer vaccine, does not apply to Barbados.
In a release from the Government Information Service it was noted the information seems to be related to another country.
The release says Barbados has an adequate supply of the Pfizer vaccine and any information that suggests otherwise is incorrect.
The Immunisation Unit encourages members of the public to check credible news sources for factual information on the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19.
