Law enforcement came up empty-handed in their field searches for missing woman, Samara Bristol today.
The 30 year old Barbadian-born American national was reported missing on Wednesday by her mother Samantha Bristol, who was last in contact with her daughter on Tuesday evening.
CBC NEWS was informed by Acting Police Public Relations Officer, Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss of extensive field searches from 5:00 a.m. until about 11:45 a.m.
The search team involved close to 60 police officers and members of the Canine Unit along with 12 Barbados Defence Force soldiers.
Areas searched included Sturges, Vaucluse, Dukes, Farmers, Airy Cot and Welchman Hall, all in the parish in St Thomas.
Investigations are continuing.
