With COVID-19 outbreaks occurring in other countries across the globe, Barbadians are being warned another wave could eventually occur here.
And it is for that reason Co-Coordinator of the National Vaccination Programme, Dr Elizabeth Ferdinand, is encouraging citizens to either get their first doses or the relevant booster shots.
Dr Ferdinand told CBC News the number of people coming forward for shots has fallen significantly.
