The Ministry of Education is continuing efforts to ensure the nation’s children practice healthy eating habits.
Education Minister, Kay McConney spoke to CBC News about some of the work being done, following a recent revelation that more children are being admitted to hospital with type 2 diabetes.
She says Government is at this time considering the National Nutrition Policy.
In the meantime, work is being done with various stakeholders.
Minister McConney says the school meals menus will also be adjusted.
