Police and fire officers are on the scene of a burning Barbados Light & Power Company (BL&P) pole at Cleavers Hill, St. Joseph.
This is in response to a high-voltage line that pulled away from the pole just after 7:00 a.m.
There are no reports of injuries or damage to any property at this time.
The BL&P arrived on the scene moments ago, while The Barbados Police Service has been closely monitoring the situation and is directing traffic.
