Vendors plying a trade near the traffic lights in Speightstown will be given an opportunity to own the kiosks they operate from.
Agriculture Minister, Indar Weir, made the disclosure in response to a question from Member of Parliament for St. Peter, Colin Jordan.
He was seeking an update on planned development for the vendors space, which he says has deteriorated over time.
Projects Director, Wayne Baker, confirmed that construction on the kiosks could begin in a matter of months, as the project will be going to tender in the new financial year.
