PM calls on world leaders to try harder to address climate change

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley delivered a stinging rebuke to world leaders, as she highlighted the need for urgent action to address the climate crisis.

She was delivering a short address in Glasgow, during the opening ceremony of the World Leaders Summit, taking place as part of the United Nations Climate Change Conference better known as COP26.

It was a message that resonated across the globe, with major media houses including CNN, BBC and Al Jazeera using extracts and seeking her out for interviews.
