Police investigate apparent hanging

District A Police are at the scene of an unnatural death which was reported about 5:10 pm today, Wednesday 12 January 2022.

The body of a 26-year-old male, was found hanging by a strap attached to a wooden beam in the living room of a house at Baycroft New Road, Bridge Road, St Michael. Investigations are ongoing in this matter.

Police said that while the person is yet to be formally identified, their identity will be released as soon as it is known and immediate family members are officially informed.
