Police are investigating a now viral incident which took place at the New Testament Church of God in Sion Hill, St James this morning.
Two members were injured during the attack on that church, while property was also destroyed.
Public Relations Officer with the Barbados Police Service, Inspector Rodney Inniss, confirmed that a suspect is in custody.

I wish to confirm the video that has been circulating on social media relates to an incident that was subsequently reported to the Holetown Police Station. It reportedly occurred about 1130 am on Sunday 22nd May 2022 at the Sion Hill New Testament Church, Sion Hill, St. James.
Police are dealing with the matter, a person of interest, the alleged perpetrator is in custody assisting with our investigations. Two individuals were injured in the melee and went off to the Sandy Medical facility. Their injuries are not serious.
Investigations are ongoing.
