A viral video depicting a brazen daylight carjacking is making the rounds on social media.
CBC News understands police are investigating the incident after the owner reported the car stolen.
The incident happened just after 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, when two masked men believed to be armed approached a valet operation located at a home in Kingsland, Christ Church.
The video shows the assailants going on to the premises and approaching the business owner as he was detailing the vehicle, a red Suzuki Swift. The bandits then forced him out of the car and made their escape.
CBC News spoke to the vehicle owner who was at the time at the police station reporting the crime, so could not provide further information at that moment.
Anyone with information on this vehicle, a red Suzuki Swift, registration “XB 1277”, is asked to contact the nearest police station.
