The Barbados Police Service is investigating a shooting death which occurred near Nelson Street, St Michael on Sunday night.
Acting public relations officer with the Service, Inspector Stephen Griffith, confirmed to CBC News that one man was shot dead, while another was injured during the incident which occurred around 11:12 pm, at Beckwith Street in the City.
He could not provide any further information at this time.
