Police investigating unnatural death at Spring Farm

A 72-year-old man was found dead in his bed at home on Thursday and police are investigating it as an unnatural death.

He was Simion Carlisle Legall of Spring Farm, St. Thomas.

According to Communications and Public Affairs Officer of the Barbados Police Service, acting Inspector Rodney Inniss, police of the Northern Division are investigating the unnatural death of Mr. Legall whose unresponsive body was discovered in his house about 6:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.

“The deceased was discovered by a family member who found him motionless on his bed and informed the police. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a Medical Doctor,” the police said on Friday morning.

Police are appealing to anyone who can provide any information pertaining to this incident to call the Criminal Investigation Department (Northern Division) at 419-1737 or 419-1730, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest police station.
