The Barbados Police Service says it has been discussing its response times to traffic accidents with authorities.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Erwin Boyce acknowledges there is public concern about the issue.
Mr. Boyce was speaking at the launch of two books, Keeping Barbados Safe – A Children’s Highway Code written by former Senior Police Officer Mr. Leon Blades and Avoiding Collisions in Barbados, jointly written by Mr. Blades and Mark Corbin.
Deputy Commissioner Boyce says for 2022 they have recorded about 6086 incidents with nine fatalities.
