Police officers receive medals and letters of commendation

Personnel from the Barbados Police Service received Regional Security System (RSS) Medals and Letters of Commendation.

A short presentation ceremony was held in the Board Room of Police Headquarters today, Monday 7 March 2022.

Commissioner of Police Mr Richard Boyce; along with Deputy Commissioner Mr Erwin Boyce; Acting Deputy Commissioner Mr William Yearwood and Assistant Commissioners Mr Sylvester Louis, Mr Ian Branch, Mr Antonio Forte; Acting Assistant Commissioners Mr John Maxwell and Mr David Griffith were present to make the official presentation of Medals and Letters of Commendation.

The following officers were recipients:

  3. Sgt. 619 Paul Mayers
  4. Sgt. (Ag.) 215 Kerwin Greene
  5. Constable 1486 Deryck Goodluck
  6. Constable 1529 Charles Mayers
  7. Constable 1772 Sylvester Cummins
  8. Constable 1947 Mario Richards
  9. Constable 2062 Keimar Gibson
  10. Constable 2150 Jared Headley

The Commissioner of Police and the senior command team expressed their sincere congratulations to all those presented with the RSS Medal and the Letter highlighting their outstanding meritorious service whilst serving in St Vincent and the Grenadines during the aftermath of the eruption of the La Soufrière volcano, between April 15 to June 18, 2021.
