Popular Kadooment band opts out of 2022 festival

Revellers will have one less option to choose from when selecting a band to jump with on Grand Kadooment Day.

This as Baje International, a staple in the Crop Over festival for two decades, announced tonight it will not be producing a Kadooment band this year.

In a statement on social media, the band said following discussions with suppliers and considering current supply chain disruptions due to COVID-19, it was not convinced it could deliver a quality product within the shortened time frame.

Baje International has however promised supporters a strong showing for 2023, along with an event in July this year.
