A Government minister sees potential for the future use of the former Glendairy Prison.
Minister of Housing, Lands and Maintenance, Dr. William Duguid spoke about the idea as he led off Debate on a Resolution to Approve the Vesting of a Parcel of Land including the former prison and buildings to the Barbados Tourism Investment Incorporated.
Dr. Duguid has revealed plans for the development of the area also include re-zoning.
